Services ยท Wasp Control
Wasp nests down before anyone gets stung.
Nest removal for the eaves, patios, and ground nests where Valley wasps set up, and treatment that discourages the rebuild.
What wasp control covers
Wasp control is nest work: finding them, removing them safely, and treating the eaves and patios so the next queen keeps moving. Nice Pest Company handles the paper wasps that hang nests under eaves and porches and the yellow jackets that nest in the ground, using professional-grade products that put a nest down quickly. Wasps sting repeatedly and defend their nests, so the value here is nobody in your household testing that.
Common wasps in Arizona
Three build around Valley homes, with three different tempers.
01
Paper wasps
The umbrella-shaped nests under eaves, porches, and sheds. Not hunting for trouble, but they defend the nest, and the nest is usually right over your door.
02
Yellow jackets
The aggressive ones. They nest in the ground and in voids, sting multiple times, and get bolder late in the season around food and trash.
03
Mud daubers
Solitary wasps that build mud tubes on walls. Rarely aggressive, more mess than menace, and their nests are removable without drama.
How our wasp treatment works
Wasp work rewards doing it right the first time, because a half-treated nest is an angry one.
-
Find every nest.
Eaves, porch ceilings, sheds, trees, and the ground nests you find the hard way with a lawnmower. Identifying the species tells us how the nest will defend itself.
-
Treat and remove.
Professional-grade products put the nest down fast, and removing it matters: the structure left up invites a rebuild.
-
Discourage the comeback.
Exterior treatment along eaves and patios makes the favorite spots less friendly for the next queen scouting a site.
-
Check it every visit.
Wasps are part of what the every-other-month barrier covers, so eaves get eyes on them every visit and a new nest gets caught while it's still small.
Why a pro beats a spray can and a ladder
A hardware-store can sprays a few feet while a defended nest counterattacks from above your head, and a partly treated nest is more dangerous than an untouched one. Add a ladder and an allergy you might not know about, and the math gets bad fast.
-
Species identified before anything is provoked.
-
The right product and protective gear for a defended nest.
-
Nests removed, not just knocked down to be rebuilt.

Straight answers to what Valley homeowners ask us most. Still not sure about something? We're happy to talk it through.
Is wasp nest removal safe to do myself?
Removing a small, clearly abandoned nest is one thing; an active nest is another. Paper wasps defend their nest and yellow jackets sting repeatedly and swarm when their ground nest is disturbed, and reactions to multiple stings can be serious. For an active nest, especially near a door or at height, professional removal is the sane route.
What's the difference between paper wasps and yellow jackets?
Paper wasps build the open, umbrella-shaped nests under eaves and are defensive only around the nest itself. Yellow jackets nest in the ground and in wall voids, forage around food and trash, and are far more aggressive, stinging multiple times when the colony feels threatened. The species changes both the risk and the treatment.
Why do wasps keep coming back to the same spot?
Sheltered eaves, covered patios, and shed overhangs are prime nest real estate, and a spot that worked once will attract the next scouting queen. Removing the old nest and treating the surface makes the site less inviting, and every-other-month checks catch a rebuild while it's still the size of a golf ball.
Are wasps covered by the recurring plan?
Yes. Wasps are part of general pest coverage, so the every-other-month barrier service includes watching the eaves and knocking down what's starting. For an established nest, we send a no-obligation estimate by text before any work starts, so you see the number first.
